About the Ramat Rachel Hotel
The only kibbutz hotel in Jerusalem overlooks the stunning landscape of the Judean Desert, the Herodion fortress, Bethlehem, and the ancient and modern sites of the Holy City. The Ramat Rachel Hotel, in its pastoral, tree-lined setting, offers all the services and conveniences of its modern, city-center counterparts.
The hotel’s 165 rooms are all equipped with a bathtub and shower, central air conditioning, a television and radio, and a telephone. The large VIP rooms also include a Jacuzzi and other special features. Also available are family suites, rooms for disabled persons, and non-smoking rooms.
The kosher restaurant serves both the hotel guests and other individuals and groups. The varied and tasty home-style meals on the menu are served either personally by waiters or buffet-style.
The hotel’s unique location - adjacent to a quiet residential neighborhood yet only a short distance from downtown - makes it an excellent base for day trips into Jerusalem.
In addition to its high-quality guest rooms, the Ramat Rachel Hotel also offers elegant conference and banquet halls for events of any size.
All guests have the convenience of free and ample parking on the hotel grounds.
From very early morning to late evening, the No. 7 Egged bus leaves the hotel every 20 minutes and makes several stops downtown.
The Old City and a host of modern downtown locations are only a 15-minute ride away.
